The Story
JessEm has designed its 12" Precision Square to stand out in the market. Crafted of hardened 301 stainless steel with a black anodized aluminum base, it features Flex Grip Tabs. These patented tabs can secure against virtually any surface softer than the steel itself. That means no more slipping when marking or scribing wood, metal, paper and more.
Able to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use, the rule markings are etched and laser engraved. And because the marks are accurate to 0.004", pinpoint exactness is assured. Additionally, it is square to a tolerance of 0.002". However, if by some chance it goes out of alignment, it can be effortlessly reset.
In addition to scribing notches spaced every 1/16", it also features a balancing tab that allows you to stabilize the square and scribe your workpiece. This easy-to-use tab engages from either side and retracts when not needed.
Perfect for woodworking, drafting, metalworking, art, design and more, every JessEm square undergoes a rigorous quality control process to ensure you get only the best and most accurate measuring product on the market. Proudly made in Canada.
