Cut repetitive thin strips with precision. The ThinRip® Guide provides a safe stop on the offcut side of the blade that consistently delivers the same-sized strips as you move your fence closer to the blade.
From Kumiko panels to through-inlaid cutting boards and beyond, many popular projects call for an abundance of consistent-dimension narrow strips. The guide eliminates the potential for common problems associated with these projects like kickback, binding and burning.
From portable to large cabinet saws, the ThinRip® Guide is engineered to work with any table saw with a T-slot and a 3/8" x 3/4" miter slot. It can cut strips as thin as 1/32" (or less if the wood will hold together) up to 1-1/4".
To use, simply slide it into the T-track miter slot of your table saw and lock it a few inches in front of the saw blade. Set the dimension you want on the laser-engraved scale, lock your fence so your stock is just touching the bearings and make the cut. Repeat as often as needed with each strip the same size as the first.
For durability and longevity, the ThinRip® Guide is machined from a solid billet of top-quality aluminum with all other components made from corrosion-resistant materials. Includes wall-mountable Rack-It™.
Like all Woodpeckers products, the ThinRip® Guide is proudly machined and carefully inspected in the Strongsville, OH facility, just south of Cleveland.
